Make a difference
UCRT is grateful for all donations, no matter how small, as they allow us to achieve our goals of creating a more just and sustainable society.
Your contribution will enhance indigenous people's lives in Tanzania by helping secure their lands, improve livelihoods and protect critical ecosystems.
Ways to Give Back

Sponsor a student and give a child a future!
Without education, pastoralist and hunter-gatherer communities struggle to defend their rights, culture, and land. By sponsoring a child’s secondary schooling, you help lift their entire family out of poverty and invest in future community leaders.
Due to low pass rates in government schools, UCRT sponsors students to attend higher-quality local private schools—ensuring they receive the education they deserve.
  • $25 provides school supplies and equipment
  • $500 sponsors a full year of private secondary education
Help a child learn, lead, and thrive.

Empower a Future Woman Leader!
Across northern Tanzania, women are rising to lead—but many still face systemic barriers to land ownership, participation, and decision-making.
Your donation helps fund training, materials, and mentorship for a woman participating in a Women’s Rights and Leadership Forum (WRLF). These forums build knowledge, confidence, and collective power—enabling women to claim their rights, challenge harmful norms, and take active roles in shaping their communities.
